CONTEST RULES

 

The Break You Never Had Music Contest was created to promote and discover aspiring singers and bands that have musical talent and world-wide potential, by offering them a recording session and music video shoot at the world famous recording studio The Loft Sound Studio in New York. All expenses including Flight, and Hotels, will be paid for to bring the winner to New York to film and record one song and one music video of the winning artist's choice.

WINNING PRIZE

​

• Flight for Solo Artist PLUS ONE or for the winning BAND (up to 4 members) to New York

• Hotel and Accommodations

• One song recorded  at a world famous recording studio with professional producer/engineer​

• One music video shoot with a multi-camera setup from our professional video director

• Worldwide music video promotion on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram​

 

​CONTEST RULES

• Artists can submit as many times as they chose.

• All Submissions must be received by the deadline of May 11th, 2020

• YouTube, Vimeo and Soundcloud links are preferred.

• Songs/Videos should be at least 1 minute in length

• Producers reserve the right to hold a second round requiring entrants to submit ADDITIONAL songs or videos for final review. No additional cost is required for a second round, and a simple phone video or recording will be sufficient for this round if artists do not have additional professional recordings.  

• The one-time fee of $35 will go toward paying the judges to review all the submissions and select a winner.  

• If winner is under the age of 18, they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

• If the artist cannot submit their music link or make their online payment due to technical difficulties, please email manager@theloftsoundstudio.com for assistance.
